NORTH AMERICA sites and landmarks |
North America is, unbelievably enough, more than just the United States of America. Canada has a strangely small waker population and a downright concerning number of vampires in its urban areas and werewolves everywhere else. Mexico has a flourishing magi community, complete with its own top-tier magic university. Tenochtitlan University - Also a college for younger students, Tenochtitlan University is the main competitor to Avalan University in the formal instruction of magic. Buried in the depths of Lake Texcoco with many of its facilities in pocket realities, it it charges no tuition and instead requires that its students simply return the favor someday. When the university contacts you for that favor, it is considered a death sentence to say no. Mu - An underwater metropolis of waterbourne sorcerers, Mu is both an empire and a city a la Rome, albeit on a much smaller scale. It has towns and villages scattered throughout the Atlantic. The likes of Atlantis and Lemuria are both part of the Mu Empire, but its crowning glory is the city Mu, an aquatic megapolis of thaumaturgic brilliance. Red - A local watering hole for vampires, this Vancouver bar is dressed up as a goth rave club. Little do the sleepers know, plenty of the regulars are actually creatures of the night. The fact that a few people (or more than a few, quite frankly) leave with bite marks on their necks is only considered hardcore rather than warrant for a police inspection.
