NORTHEAST sites and landmarks |
Northeast America includes both New England (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont) and the Mid-Atlantic (New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania). The original colonists with accompanied by guardian watchers and hungry fae, but since then the area has attracted all sorts, and certainly more than their fair share of ghosts. Maximilian Brothers Circus - Max Bros is a traveling circus of powerful ghosts that repeatedly possess new corpses to animate for their shows. They keep the bodies fresh by bathing in formaldehyde, and they hide decay with clown facepaint. Their typical tour is along small towns all throughout New England, but in the winter, they foray down to New York as well. Wilhelmina - A Dutch witch that is at least three hundred years old. Originally in New York City, she left for quieter pastures in upstate New York around the turn of the century. Some claim she's a necromancer, sacrificing others' lives to preserve her youth and beauty, others believe she wields an artifact of true power. Either way, she's a powerful mage, as vain as she is dangerous. Stregheria - Located on the Jersey shore, Stregheria is a warm, dusty new age bookstore on the surface, but its basement leads to a pocket reality that hosts many waker events, but most notably an annual get-together for Greco-Roman deities. These reunions end in tears just as often as they end in hellfire, but many deities make a point to show up just for the sake of keeping old relationships alive.
