MIDWEST sites and landmarks |
The American Midwest consists of the Great Lakes states ( Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota, and Wisconsin) and the Great Plains states (Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, and South Dakota). The region is best known for their were packs, featuring not only werewolves but also full packs of pretty much every were-creature imaginable. Great Lakes - There's a Lady of the Lake in various mythologies, but there's a lady for every lake in the Great Lakes. Powerful local deities, they run the Great Lake region's magical community with an iron fist, and all races answer to their joint rule. The goddesses are Gichigami (Superior), Ontario, Mishigami (Michigan), Karegnondi (Huron), and Erie. Donati's Pizzeria - A corner pizza place in Chicago, Donati's serves excellent pizza and even better milkshakes. They have plenty of regulars that can't help but notice that there's a whole lot of strangers coming in and out. Turns out the menus are enchanted to list odd jobs, bounties, and recruitment notices for wakers. The only requirement for adding a job or viewing all the job offers is the purchase of a coffee or a slice of pizza. Pierson Dairy Farm - A magi-run establishment in South Dakota, this dairy farm sells milk for exorbitant prices, as well as various yogurts and cheeses. Why so expensive? A few glasses of the milk (and other products) completely stops a werewolf's full moon transformation. The farm's been in business for ten years, and no one's ever had any complaints--until now. Now there's a werecat running around claiming that their products are laced with heavy-duty charms and induced suggestions.
