WEST sites and landmarks |
Western states (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming) are divided into Pacific and Mountain zones--and Hawaii to boot. The West is infamous for its huge fae population, who followed the big dreams of the gold rush hopefuls. The Hollows - Somewhere between Santa Cruz and San Francisco, The Hollows is a small town where everything seems normal. Anyone that stays around a while will find themselves plagued with nightmares and sink into a deep depression. Most people eventually become shells of themselves, going about daily activities with a joyless monotony. The Fae are in strong force here. Salt Lake City, UT - The Church of Latter Day Saints was greeted by incredible skepticism if not scorn by most watchers. Still, a few angels have embraced this new church and make a new home in Salt Lake City, as well as a few fallen angels with a deep appreciation of irony. Mount Rainier - The highest point in Washington state, Mount Rainier is an active volcano home to all sorts of folk. There's at least one yukionna, quite a few spirits of snow, recluse witches, a werewolf pack, and a weremink pack too, not to mention whatever else can get by on the mountain without the sleeper rangers noticing.
