[cs=2] Throughout the years, Aleksander has forgotten everything about his past, or hasn't cared to remember it at least. The far past is unimportant to the future, and if he can't make money or trade well from it, he doesn't need to know it. He's sure his past in Scandinavia was just as obscure as he is today, with very few people (if any) worshipping him, but doesn't wonder beyond that. His earliest memories are of the dingy ship he travelled over on, sitting next to a frail old man clutching his trader's book tightly to his chest while the waves rocked them back and forth. It was altogether unpleasant, but the feeling of the open air was enough to make him forget it. And more than that--the feeling of greed and bartering surrounding him when his feet touched American soil made him forget all about the feeble tradesman and search for his own niche in the new world. He soon set up a feeder trade with the vampires of NYC, letting them feed from a deity (and more, for the right price) in exchange for the money he needed to rise in the world. But after years and years of being bitten and used, a brilliant idea hit him. He created a feeder company under the guise of a winery called 'Blood Diamond', staffing it with wakers willing to let vampires feed for a cut of the cash. As the company grew and the customer base increased, Blood Diamond began catering to a few adventurous Faeries as well. Aleksander is always looking for 'fresh blood', of course, and recruitment for Blood Diamond is always underway. Just remember that it's not a brothel, and he doesn't sell sex. It's an understood rule that you don't sell your body in his company--just your blood. And perhaps your soul. | |
