TIMES SQUARE sites and landmarks |
Times Square is the quintessential shot of New York City you see in every movie ever. It is one of the busiest intersections in the world, always swarming with people. Home to the Broadway theater district as well as much of the entertainment industry, you'll find everything from M&M World's to the New York Times to MTV in Times Square. You can find anyone here, although mostly you only find tourists, and that holds true for the supernatural races as well. Spelling Bee - As an occult shop that primarily serves sleeper New Age enthusiasts and tourists, the Spelling Bee is really not the best place for wakers to buy their spell components as most of the stuff is junk. However, the owner is 100% legitimate and has a nasty sense of humor. A demon with too much spare time, much of the shop's wares are cursed. Monroe Theater - Named for James Monroe, not Marilyn, the Monroe Theater is run by ghosts that love limelight. A bit bizarre and slightly prone technical difficulties as ghosts accidentally phase in and out of reality, the Monroe Theater nevertheless reliably puts on quality musicals and plays, as well as the occasional live comedy routine. They're infamous for throwing spectacular after-show parties. As far as being dead goes, the Monroe ghosts are all divas living it up. Crossroads - A dirt cheap youth hotel, the service isn't too good, but the idea is that you get what you pay for, and at least you get a bed and a hot shower. You might get even more than that though, because Crossroads is owned by a crossroads demon that will offer one poor guest each night their dreams made reality in exchange for their soul.
